Timber Mock Sash Windows are a popular choice for those who want to keep the authentic look but avoid the higher cost of a traditional sliding sash window. Mock sash windows are often considered a more affordable alternative to traditional sash windows. Therefore, if you are operating on a budget, chances are they will be better suited to your home.
Our engineered softwood and hardwood Mock Sash windows mimic the same look as traditional timber Sash Windows but operate in an entirely different way. Instead of the sashes sliding up and down, the top sash is hinged at the sides. This allows the sash to be opened outwards like a Casement Window.
We offer two types of Mock Sash windows. The most popular type looks really similar to traditional sash windows. And can have a fixed bottom wing or sliding bottom sash, which operates with a spring balance system; and the other type is based on a stormproof range of casement window designs.
